Discover a digital trail through Preston.
Peer into our magical story boxes for a journey through the city, across landscapes both real and fantastical, strange and familiar. Ribble of Dreams is a story of escape, of exploration and of discovery. A mix of local histories, some factual, some imagined, made by imitating the dog and the people of Preston.
ITD make stories, and we are always looking at new ways to tell a tale. Sometimes these stories unfold on stages and sometimes they are projected in the dark onto the walls of tall buildings. This time the story will unfold across a series of viewing boxes, seen through a smartphone sized slot in a shop window. The installations will be visible across a trail of five shops in Preston City Centre during Encounter Festival, 21st & 22nd Sept 2024.
