All Blood Runs Red

Learning Resources

Welcome to our free Learning Resources pack for our 2025 touring production of All Blood Runs Red, the extraordinary true story of Eugene Bullard. Here you’ll find a collection of resources that aims to shed further light on the show, from the process of creating and making it to uncovering more details on Bullard and his life, and encourage exploration of the play’s themes, contexts and the concepts we investigate in our work.

These assets are intended for all appropriate ages to use, from KS3 and GCSE to higher education and adult learning. We hope you find the resources intriguing, engaging and a catalyst for further discussion and discovery.

We will keep adding to this page and pack throughout the rehearsal process and production tour, so keep checking back to see what new items we produce. Still to come:

  • Further reading/viewing/listening lists
  • Interview with Morgan Bailey
  • Classroom questions/activities
  • Blog posts

If you have any questions about any of the resources, or would like to enquire about booking an education workshop with imitating the dog, please email ben@imitatingthedog.co.uk

For information on chargeable workshops, please see our Creative Engagement homepage
