Our learning and participatory opportunities are exciting, cutting-edge, and generous. Focusing on digital technology and storytelling techniques, our creative engagement work is in five main strands (please see relevant pages for more information):
- Workshops & Talks – specific workshops and talks/Q&As for our touring theatre productions, as well as a year-round offer.
- Residencies – longer residencies and co-productions tailored to the needs of our collaborators.
- Learning Resources – digital learning toolkits for our touring theatre productions, and resources for learners interested in our approach to telling stories.
- Community Engagement – one-off workshops or longer residencies in community settings, often linked to our outdoor projection mapping work.
- Artist & Practitioner Development – support for artists and practitioners at different levels of their careers, including our associate practitioner programme, paid internships, artist development programmes, training courses such as DigiLab, and project shadowing
We are always open to opportunities for delivering bespoke workshops, residencies or training sessions, so if you have a project in mind please contact Creative Engagement Manager, Ben Mellor, at ben@imitatingthedog.co.uk.
