In Rehearsal with The Heist

Last weekend we had the pleasure of seeing Blackpool Grand‘s Grand Young Company deliver two scintillating performances of The Heist, an immersive, experimental theatre production that we’d been working on with them for a few months.
A huge thank you to all of the brilliant young performers for committing so thoroughly to the piece, both in rehearsals and on the stage. It was wonderful to work with them – as our co-Artistic Director and show director Pete Brooks said here, and as our Creative Engagement Manager says here:
‘It’s been fantastic working with the Blackpool Grand’s Young Company on The Heist. The material they created for the show was funny, thoughtful, heartfelt and physically dynamic. They approached the rehearsals and performances with a diligence and professionalism beyond their years, but with the energy, enthusiasm and sense of humour that makes working with young performers such a pleasure. GYC are an incredibly talented and dedicated bunch of young artists with an impressive range of skills, and we look forward to seeing what they accomplish in their future careers!’
