The Heist

Award-winning ‘multimedia daredevils’ (The Times) imitating the dog have joined forces with Blackpool Grand Theatre’s Young Company to present The Heist – a fun, fast-paced and fiercely inventive contemporary theatre experience.

Twenty young performers take to the stage and act out a bank robbery. And then they do it again and again, each time using the same material in a brand-new way to present a new perspective of events.

Using spoken word, music, choreography and imitating the dog’s signature digital technology, The Heist is an immersive, entertaining exploration of the different ways we tell a story. Expect a wild ride from the comic to the tragic, the frightening to the farcical, and the meaningless to the meaningful.
