Tyrone Huggins: All Blood Runs Red Q&A
30th January 2025
We’re excited to share with you a closer look at our brand-new touring production All Blood Runs Red, with a collection of rehearsal photos courtesy of frequent imitating the dog photographer Ed Waring.
Co-writer Morgan Bailey (who has previously performed in imitating the dog productions Heart of Darkness and Night of the Living Dead™ – Remix) delivers a dynamic performance in this visually arresting, intimate show about the extraordinary life of Eugene Bullard, a forgotten true story told through the lens of the modern-day experiences of a young actor.
Bailey has collaborated with imitating the dog Artistic Directors Pete Brooks, Andrew Quick and Simon Wainwright on the production, while Tyrone Huggins (Black Men Walking) joins the company as director, which you can read more about here and here.
These photographs follow on from the release of the show’s teaser trailer, created by Sodium Films, which is available to watch here.
All Blood Runs Red premieres at Leeds Playhouse from 14-15 February before heading off on a tour to Key Theatre, Peterborough (25-26 February), The Lowry, Salford Quays (4 March), The Dukes, Lancaster (6-7 March), Cast, Doncaster (11-12 March) and Warwick Arts Centre (13-14 March).
