They’re coming. They’re coming.
With not long to go until the opening performance of our latest touring production War of the Worlds, we’re excited to share with you a glimpse into the rehearsal room and a peek at what’s to come, with our collection of rehearsal photos.
Taken by Ed Waring, the snaps show our cast of Bonnie Baddoo, Morgan Bailey, Gareth Cassidy and Amy Dunn stepping into our dynamic production, which features miniature environments, model worlds, camera tricks and projection.
It’s a thrilling, audacious and timely retelling of H.G. Wells’s classic novel, and we can’t wait for you to join us on tour.

Both the footage and photographs were captured during our rehearsal stint at Nuffield Theatre, Lancaster University, where we stayed for three weeks courtesy of our show supporters Lancaster Arts (who also facilitated some open rehearsals for us, which you can read about here).
We’re currently in situ for the final stretch of rehearsals at production supporters Cast in Doncaster, where the show opens on Thurs 5 – Sat 7 February, before travelling to BEAM, Hertford (13-14 Feb), The Dukes, Lancaster (18-21 Feb), Lowry, Salford Quays (25-28 Feb), Liverpool Playhouse (4-7 March), New Wolsey Theatre, Ipswich (11-14 March), Belgrade Theatre, Coventry (18-21 March), Stadttheater Schaffhausen, Switzerland (7 April), Theater Winterhur, Switzerland (9 April), Theatr Clwyd, Mold (15-18 April), Blackpool Grand Theatre (22-25 April) and The Arts Theatre Cambridge (29 April – 2 May).
