ITD Masterclass for Culture Warrington

25th February 2025 by Lauren Randall

Calling all aspiring artists aged 16+ in Warrington: we’re heading to the town this March to deliver a FREE one-day masterclass.

Part of Culture Warrington‘s programme, ‘Performing in a Digital Environment’ is a day-long workshop led by actor and writer Laura Atherton and creative technologist Andrew Crofts, which explores accessible techniques and technology developed across a range of our productions.

Participants will be introduced to simple but effective ways of creating ITD-style performance work, including interacting with live camera feeds using iPhones and video software, as well as touching on the use of projected animated backdrops, green screen, storyboarding, lighting, and aspects of design for camera.

No prior experience is necessary, but the workshop is aimed at emerging artists with some interest in live performance and/or creative technology. All equipment is provided.

When: Saturday 22 March 2025, 10am
Where: Parr Hall, Warrington Town Centre
Age: 16+
