PRESS RELEASE: Announcing All Blood Runs Red
15th October 2024
We’re delighted to announce that Dear Einstein, our brand new installation from this year’s Light Up Lancaster festival, is now available to watch online, courtesy of a recording from Sodium Films.
We had a fantastic time in Lancaster with the piece, which was situated in Dalton Square over three nights and accompanied by a choir comprised of Lancaster and Morecambe residents. Big shout out to composer and choir leader James Hamilton, Loz Kaye at Lancaster Encounters and Creative Engagement Manager Ben Mellor – and the participants, of course! – for bringing those finishing musical touches to Simon Wainwright’s spectacular video projections and lyrics.
Asking the big questions in fun, captivating and moving ways, relive Dear Einstein or see it for the first time right here.
Captions are available and keen attendees will remember that the lyrics also appear on the building projections too, if you’re in the mood to join in with the community choir and our performers Matthew Prendergast and Simon Wainwright.
Remember to look out for the red ‘Watch at Home’ button on our project pages if you’re wanting to see something at a later date.
