Onward into 2014…
A quick post to update any passers by on the ever expanding pursuits of imitating the dog. After a fairly busy 2013 with two shows touring the UK and a trip out to Georgia we’re starting to get out teeth into some work for the year ahead. We’ll be kicking things off with two outings for In May, a sort-of opera made with Matt Fenton from Contact (and LICA) and written by Neil Hannon of The Divine Comedy. The show will appear at Tramway and Brighton’s The Old Market in March. More on our Dates page.
We’ll also be working on the video design for a new piece at The Dukes Playhouse in Lancaster. The Life and Times of Mitchell & Kenyon tells the story of the Blackburn early film-makers. We’ve just started working on the show so watch this space for more information.
April will also see us kick off some R&D on a new show at The Castle in Wellingborough. We’re armed only with a title, some ideas and a piano so far so we’ll see what happens. We’ll be adding to the blog as and when the show develops.
More Autumn dates to be announced soon so sign up to the mailing list if you want to be kept up to date with our movements.
